Q + A

I am happiest…

I have just completed a long run with dear friends and we are all sitting down together sharing a mountain of chocolate chip pancakes and a pot of fresh coffee.

My favorite view…

is the 360 degree view you get from the top of Craggy Pinnacle in Asheville, NC.

Morning ritual…

I jump out of bed the second my alarm goes off to avoid listening to the obnoxious sound any longer than necessary. I head to the kitchen for coffee, which can take full-credit for any motivation I possess at 5:30am. I carry my mug back to my bed, where I read my morning devotional.

One activity you do everyday without fail…

I always take time to fix a healthy, balanced breakfast. I’m one of those people that wakes up starving and can’t function without a plate of scrambled eggs, avocado slices, and sautéed spinach.

A good day is…

waking up early to kill a challenging workout, and then walking the Duke trail, basking in the sunlight and partaking in an engaging conversation with a friend.

Last thing you do at night…

I make sure my cellphone ringer is on high so that I will awake up to the alarm!! :)

What 3 things are vital to your day…

time spent with God, time spent working out, and time spent engaging with others

Biggest risk that has paid off…
