About Amy

Amy is passionate about motivating and inspiring others through exercise. She is a certified personal trainer who grew up in Durham and attended Duke University, where she was an All-American Field Hockey player. She has a diverse background in movement and exercise having studied African and modern dance, capoeira, muay thai, and TRX.

 When not teaching, she loves to travel and meet new people. As an international field hockey player and graduate student in global health, she has been fortunate to visit and live in multiple countries including Australia, Kenya, Brazil, and England.

to be an Olympic and professional athlete. My adult dream job is to be an underwater photographer (too bad I get sea sick every time I'm on a boat)

What one meeting changed your life…

My life is changed every day through the new people that I meet

Biggest risk that has paid off…

staying close to home and finding contentment where I am currently living. I always have wanderlust, but I am so thankful that I did not leave the area. I have met so many incredible people here and am very happy.
